| 1. | From the welcome screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. |
| 2. | Tap your desired language. |
| 3. | Tap your country/region. |
| 4. | Choose how you would like the text and icons to look on iPhone, then tap Continue. |
| 5. | From this screen, you can set up your device using Quick Start. To do this, bring another device running iOS 11 or later nearby to sign in automatically. If you need help with this, please follow the Quick Start guide option at the beginning. If you would like to skip this and set up your device manually, tap Set Up Without Another Device. |
| 6. | From this screen, you can connect your device to nearby Wi-Fi networks. Tap the network you want to connect to. |
| 7. | Enter the network password, then tap the tick icon. |
| 8. | Tap Continue. |
| 9. | Read the data and privacy statement from Apple, then tap Continue. |
| 10. | You have the option to set up your device for an adult, teen or a child. For this example, tap Adult. |
| 11. | On this screen, you can set up Face ID on your device. Face ID uses your face as a security measure instead of a passcode or your Apple Account password when making purchases or unlocking your device. Tap Continue to begin registering your face, or tap Set Up Later to skip this step. |
| 12. | Tap Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions to register your face. |
| 13. | For this example, tap Don't Use Face ID With a Mask. However, if you want to set up Face ID while wearing a mask, tap Use Face ID With a Mask and follow the on-screen instructions. |
| 14. | Tap Continue. |
| 15. | On this screen, you can set up a passcode. Your passcode is used to unlock your iPhone, make purchases, and serves as a backup for Face ID. You can choose to create a six-digit code, a four-digit code, a custom numeric code, or a custom alphanumeric code. Enter your passcode using the on-screen keypad. |
| 16. | Re-enter your passcode. |
| 17. | Here, you can restore data and content from a previous device and backup. If you are setting up your device from scratch, tap Don't Transfer Anything. If you want to transfer apps and data, follow the transfer data options at the beginning of the steps. |
| 18. | To get the most out of your device, you should sign into your device using an Apple Account. This enables you to use iCloud functions and services such as Find My iPhone. Enter your Apple Account username and password, then tap Continue. |
| 19. | You may be asked to enter an Apple Account Verification Code, which will be sent to one of your other devices signed into your Apple Account. Enter the Verification Code using the on-screen keypad. |
| 20. | Read through the terms and conditions, then tap Agree. |
| 21. | Wait for your iCloud account to be signed in, then tap Continue. |
| 22. | If your eSIM profile begins to download automatically, skip to step 25. For this example, tap Scan QR Code. |
| 23. | Scan the QR code provided by your network provider. If you don't have a QR code, tap Enter Details Manually and enter an activation code to activate your eSIM. |
| 24. | Enter the code from your network provider to download and install your eSIM, then tap Next. |
| 25. | Tap Continue. |
| 26. | On this screen, you can set up Apple Pay. For now, tap Set Up Later. |
| 27. | On this screen, you have the option to share iPhone Analytics with Apple. Tap your preferred option. |
| 28. | On this screen, you have the option to share your app data with developers. Tap your preferred option. |
| 29. | Here, you can set up Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. For this example, tap Set Up Later. |
| 30. | Learn how to use the Camera Control feature, then tap Continue. |
| 31. | If you want to set up Siri, tap Continue and follow the on-screen instructions. For this example, tap Set Up Later. |
